This project involved the revegetation of open grassland where the soil was mainly fill from an adjacent development.

Approximately 10,000 plants were included in the project which was staged.  Various planting preparation and methods have been trialed at the site and monitoring data collected.

The initial planting is now 5 years old. Although dry periods and flooding have impacted the plantings, they have showed significant growth and excellent cover. A large proportion of the trees, particularly Swamp Mahogany and Brush Box are up to 6 metres high.
